Shopping Day!

Date:      Wednesday 10 August, 2011
Weather:  Sunshine is trying to peak out! (44 at 8:30am)
Weight:    198/199 (wigglin' between the two)

Well, assuming that miss Joy receives my order early enough today and comes in and see's me :D, I am starting my AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge TOMORROW! EEK!! So, I had to put together a shopping list. Yesterday I outlined my "plan" for the next 10 days, and today I am going to show you the shopping list (sure hope I didn't forget anything!)

PRODUCE
10              Banana's

2                Salmon Fillets

CANNED
4 Cans        Tuna
3 Cans        Black Beans
1 Jar            Pickles

OTHER
2 Dzn         Eggs (20)
1 Box         Brown Rice (2 cups)

That doesn't seem too terrible for 10 days worth of food ... for myself :-/ I'll have to continue supplementing food for my family too, but they're pretty easy :)

I had a calorie intake goal the last 3 days of 1,200 calories. I have to admit, that I haven't done the best (1,200 calories is HARD to stay at!).
Day 1 (sunday) I over consumed 7 calories (intake 1,755)
Day 2 (monday) I over consumed 873 calories (dinner with the husband) (intake 2,196)
Day 3 (tuesday) I over consumed 392 calories (1,592)

Now remember, that I have a 1,200 calorie goal INCLUDING exercise that I do! So if I burn 300 calories exercising, I need to consume 1,500 calories of food. However, 1,500-1,750 is NOT a bad caloric intake, especially when the recommended for a woman is 2,000, I live a lightly active life style, and the foods that I am consuming are fruits, vegetables, and protein for the most part.

I feel better, if nothing else. I'm not gross and bloated all day, I am drinking TONS of water, and I have energy (without needing caffeine!)

Speaking of which ... It's time to SPARK UP ;-) (thanks again Joy) and drink another bottle of water, and get my ass workin'!!!

:) See ya on the flip side of skinny!!
